Compute: Frankfurt Infrastructure Upgrade Completed

Announcement
We’ve successfully completed the migration of our Frankfurt zone (DE-FRA-1) from FR7 to the new Equinix FR8 data center. All workloads were transitioned seamlessly with no disruption, and the zone is now fully operational in its new location.
This upgrade strengthens the resilience of the Frankfurt region and increases capacity to support continued customer growth and evolving workload requirements.
Key highlights
- Zero disruptions — all instances continue to run as before.
- No impact on pricing — improved foundation at no additional cost.
- Enhanced resilience and scalability for future workload needs.
- All customer data remained within the secure Exoscale network throughout the migration.
GPU instances remain temporarily in Equinix FR7 and will be migrated at a later stage (customers will be notified separately).
