We’ve introduced new CPU-optimized variants to our Managed PostgreSQL service.

These plans are tailored for compute-intensive workloads where raw CPU performance matters. Ideal for:

• Real-time analytics or large aggregations

• High-concurrency applications with many parallel client connections

• Bursting workloads with frequent CPU spikes (e.g., background processing, data transformations)

They pack 50 % more CPU cores for only ~ 20 % extra cost compared to the equivalent standard plan. No need to pay double to jump to the next tier.
