Exoscale Achieves SOC-2 Type 1
Strengthening Our Commitment to Security and Trust
We are happy announce that Exoscale has successfully achieved SOC-2 compliance. Our SOC-2 Type 1 report, which adds to our growing portfolio of certifications, including ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, and TISAX, is a testament to our commitment to maintaining the trust and confidence our customers and partners have come to expect. Examined by Johanson Group LLP, this achievement marks another milestone in our ongoing dedication to security and reliability.
Our Journey Towards SOC-2 Compliance
At Exoscale, we're determined to consistently ensure security and integrity of our clients' data. Obtaining the SOC-2 Type 1 report is an important step in that direction. A Type 1 report focuses on evaluating whether our controls are designed effectively and accurately implemented at a given point in time.
Next Steps: Aiming for SOC-2 Type 2
While the Type 1 report is a significant milestone, our sights are now set on obtaining the SOC-2 Type 2 report in Q2 2024, following a 1-year observation period. Unlike Type 1, which covers the design and implementation of controls, the Type 2 report assesses the effectiveness of those controls over an extended period of time. This will provide further validation of Exoscale's commitment to ensuring security and reliability. We will remain proactive and diligent in upholding our security standards, as we work towards obtaining the SOC-2 Type 2 report.
