Introducing Block Storage (Preview)

Block Storage is now available in Preview mode for all customers. During Preview Block Storage can only be used in our Geneva zone (CH-GVA-2).
Block Storage is the latest extension to our core infrastructure services and can be used as flexible, fast, and reliable primary data storage. Whether you need it for your I/O intensive applications, containerized applications or as a Persistant Volume Claim for Kubernetes, Block Storage is an additional option to extend storage options for your compute workloads.
Until General Availability (GA) the new service is free to use. GA is expected for the second quarter 2024 with activation of full SLAs and billing.
