SKS: Kubernetes Audit Webhook Support

September 9, 2025
New

We’ve introduced Kubernetes Audit Webhook support for SKS clusters. With this feature, you can now enable and configure Kubernetes Auditing on your cluster and forward audit events directly from the kube-apiserver to your own backend web server.

What’s changed?

  • You can enable/disable Kubernetes auditing at the cluster level.

  • Configuration is available via the Exoscale Portal. CLI and Terraform implementations are coming soon.

  • Auditing parameters can be defined, including:

    • Endpoint URL

    • Authentication via bearer token (with rotation support)

    • Initial backoff

Key advantages

This functionality gives you complete visibility into Kubernetes API activity in your cluster, enabling integration with security and monitoring tools such as Falco or SIEM platforms. You gain:

  • Centralized auditing of API calls

  • Easier compliance reporting

  • Flexible configuration to match your security workflows
