SKS: Veeam Ready Kubernetes

Exoscale Scalable Kubernetes Service (SKS) is now listed as Veeam Ready Kubernetes for Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes.

This validation confirms that SKS has been qualified to support Veeam Kasten Kubernetes-native backup and restore capabilities, including coverage for the platform (distribution) and CSI integration coverage, verified by Veeam.

What this enables

• Run Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes on SKS in order to back up and restore your applications

• Use Veeam Kasten workflows for disaster recovery and migration of Kubernetes applications on and off SKS

• Rely on a Veeam-qualified Kubernetes platform for Kasten operations (per Veeam Ready Kubernetes)

Getting started

To protect workloads running on SKS with Veeam Kasten:

1. Create an SKS cluster (matching your target Kubernetes version)
2. Install Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes on the cluster using the Kubernetes native installation method
3. Configure storage integration and backup locations as per Veeam Kasten documentation
