SOC-2 Type 2 attestation
Exoscale has now obtained its SOC-2 Type 2 attestation, a continuation from last year's SOC-2 Type 1 achievement.
Unlike a one-time audit, This external audit involves a rigorous evaluation of the organization's systems and processes over a period of time, ensuring that they meet the stringent criteria for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

To achieve this, the company implemented robust security controls, conducted regular internal audits, and engaged an independent third-party auditor to verify that these controls were effectively enforced and consistently monitored. The successful attainment of SOC-2 Type 2 attestation provides cloud customers and stakeholders with assurance that Exoscale is dedicated to safeguarding their data and maintaining a trustworthy operational environment.
Our next milestone is like for SOC-2, to achieve BSI C5 attestation this fall.
